It’s not for nothing that High Point, North Carolina, is known as the “Furniture Capital of the World.”
That’s one good reason for Liv.able to establish a giant showroom soon after building a distribution center not far away, also within the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina.
The new facility also will house the East Coast corporate offices of Chinese parent company Markor.
The contractor turned to Southwest Wall Systems to work on the A.R.T. portion of the complex, some 67,000 square feet and soaring to heights between 60 and 70 feet.
SWS clad the structure with exterior insulated finish systems made by BASF Finestone: Pebbletex products featuring excellent drainage.
The installation included a twist—really; design elements included a curved, monolithic wall twist within the building’s external skin veneer.
General contractor: New Atlantic Contracting, Inc.
