About the Project

With some 35,000 students, Kennesaw State is the third largest public university in Georgia.

The university’s Village Suites is the school’s top-of-the-line housing complex for freshmen. Each resident has a private bedroom and bathroom. Common areas include TV and game rooms, art galleries, computer labs, restaurants, and more.

Southwest Wall Systems remediated problems with the building envelope—more than 90,000 square feet of work. SWS restored the stucco, waterproofing and continuous insulation (ci) systems. We used BASF Finestone wall systems.

  • The school’s athletic teams are called the Owls; those cheering for the home team shout, “hooty hoo!”
